🔸”Whoever keeps his stomach hungry his thinking culminates to the highest level, thus, making his reflections stronger”

💠Imam Ali (peace be with him) said:

🔸 “whoever eats less, their thought will be purified” and “how can one’s thought be purified if they are constantly full” (pg.888)

💠The Prophet (peace be with him and his progeny) said:

🔸”the heart bears wisdom when the stomach is empty, and the heart throws out wisdom when the stomach is full” (pg. 307).

💠In the tradition of al-Mi’raj (Prophets Ascension to heaven):

🔸The Prophet said: “oh God! What is the outcome of hunger?”

🔸He said, “wisdom, protection of the heart, drawing closer to Me, lasting sorrow, less burden on the people, telling the truth, and lack of concern whether one lives in wealth or poverty” (pg. 31).

💠The Prophet (peace be with him and his progeny) said:

🔸”a man whose [consumption of] food is little has a healthy stomach and a pure heart, and a man whose food is plenty has a sick stomach and a hard heart” (pg. 30).

💠Imam Ali (peace be with him):

🔸”when the stomach is filled even with permissable food, the heart becomes blind to goodness” (pg.30).
