As we are getting close to the month of Muharram and we feel the presence of Imam Hussain ( Peace be upon him ) more in our lives . so I have decided to share more knowledge about Imam Hussain ( peace be upon him ) with my brothers and sisters . Secret of Ghadir

The greatest Eid is the celebration of humanity, which is manifested in Ghadir Khumm. So, celebrate it joyfully, make friendships, exhibit affection, display kindness, remove grudges and rejoice as much as you can.

Why Eid al-Ghadir is the greatest celebration for Shi’a Muslims?

What is the secret of the event of Ghadir?

Ghadir Khumm is the name of the place where the noble prophet (s) announced Ali (a) as his caliph in 10 AH, following the command of God, the Glorious and the Exalted. Hence it was called “Hajj al-Wida'” (“the farewell pilgrimage”).

God’s order was revealed to the noble prophet in the following verse, “O Apostle! Communicate that which has been sent down to you from your Lord, and if you do not, you will not have communicated His message” It means that the 23 years of his efforts would be lost (if he did not deliver what he (a) was told to announce to people)

And Allah revealed the next verse to the prophet saying “today (Ghadir) is the day I have perfected your religion for you, and I have completed My blessing upon you, and I have approved Islam as your religion” which means that God would not accept one’s religion without accepting the Wilaya (guardianship) of Ali (a). Now the question is why religion would not be perfect without the Wilaya of Ali (a) and why God would not be pleased with it?

Anyone who knows his self, will understand that to achieve perfection, they need a guide and follow a leader. Ali (a) and the Prophet (a) are like one soul in two bodies.

The same person we need as the prophet (a) is whom we need to continue the way and lead us, so that he (a) can stop us from wastage and profligacy in all our affairs; so that, by following him we can reach true humanity, just like a seed that grows to a ripe fruit.

Therefore, the reason behind celebration of Ghadir is perfection of religion and completion of blessings through continuation of prophethood in the form of Imamate, so that mankind can reach perfection through this leadership.

ـ الإمامُ الصّادقُ (عَلَيهِ الّسَلامُ): إنَّ مَنزِلَةَ القلبِ مِن الجَسَدِ بمَنزِلَةِ الإمامِ مِن الناسِ .

‪Imam al-Sadiq (AS) said, ‘The status of the heart to the body is the same as that of a leader among people.’[`AIlal al-Sharai`a, P.109, no. 8]

Subhanallah!!! Brothers and sisters ! If you want to find the best description of this world and Learn how to live in this world like a real Muslim , like a perfect human being , I would love to refer all my brothers and sisters in any school of thoughts to Nahjul Balaghah ( The peak of eloquence ) . Which has some of the most beautiful sermons , letters and small sayings of wisdom of Imam Ali ( peace be upon him ) . I hope you take this serious and spend sometimes to research about Imam Ali ( peace be upon him ) . He was the best companion of prophet Muhammad ( peace be upon him& his progeny ) .

Sometimes seeking visual pleasures, makes the person dissolute and for example makes it Ok for him to read any book, look at any photo, or watch any movie.

All these create unnecessary and redundant thoughts and entangle the person

This also can bear bitter results for the soul, thoughts, and actions of the person for many years which on top of causing him regret and wasting his time and talents, will corrupt his life in this world and the hereafter.

Elevated people, like those with good scientific or spiritual development, do not easily waste their time on excess and unnecessary things.

among the sins of the eye which are haram in Islam, are looking at obscene pictures or movies, stalking others, meddling in others’ affairs, looking at the messages people have on their phone, looking at other people’s private documents or their private letters, and overall looking at anything private that others don’t want us to peer into.

The third thing that can help us control our eyes, is paying attention to the great rewards that are associated with controlling one’s eyes.

The reason many people are unable to concentrate on their prayers and enjoy them, is because their minds are entangled with impurities and haram inputs and is corrupted by them.

One must pay attention that he is in the presence of God. God is omnipresent. There’s nothing that God doesn’t embrace.

We are continuously being seen by God and angels; in fact our life flows in their presence.

Paying attention to this fact that we are in His presence, gives great amount of power to us in controlling our behaviors and our five senses.
