🌼 Virtues of #Imam_Ali

✨💢Laylat al-Mabīt

✨Laylat al-Mabīt (Arabic: لیلة المبیت, the night of sleeping) is the title of the #night in which the #Prophet_Muhammad(s) #emigrated from #Mecca to #Medina, and because of the decision of #Quraysh to #assassinate the Prophet (s), #Imam_Ali (a) #slept in prophet’s #bed, so the assassins will not notice his absence. The verse #207 of #sura al-Baqara is revealed about the #sacrifice of Imam ‘Ali (a) for #saving the life of the Prophet (s).

🌸Happy #Eid al-Ghadir to all Muslims.

🌺After the last #Hajj 🕋 of Prophet Muhammad (hajjatulwidaa) and in the way back from #Mecca, the caravan of the pilgrims arrived at Ghadir Khuum.

It was in this place that the following verse was revealed to Prophet:

“O Messenger, announce that which has been revealed to you from your Lord, and if you do not, then you have not conveyed His message. And #Allah will protect you from the people. Indeed, Allah does not guide the disbelieving people. (5:67).

🌼After this message, Prophet ordered the caravan to stop, and ordered those who had passed Ghadir Khumm to return, and for them to wait there until the arrival of those who were still on their way. (the gathering lasted for 3 days).

After all pilgrims gathered, he took Ali’s hand and said:

O’ Allah whomsoever I am his #master, this #Ali is also his master.

Secret of Ghadir

The greatest Eid is the celebration of humanity, which is manifested in Ghadir Khumm. So, celebrate it joyfully, make friendships, exhibit affection, display kindness, remove grudges and rejoice as much as you can.

Why Eid al-Ghadir is the greatest celebration for Shi’a Muslims?

What is the secret of the event of Ghadir?

Ghadir Khumm is the name of the place where the noble prophet (s) announced Ali (a) as his caliph in 10 AH, following the command of God, the Glorious and the Exalted. Hence it was called “Hajj al-Wida'” (“the farewell pilgrimage”).

God’s order was revealed to the noble prophet in the following verse, “O Apostle! Communicate that which has been sent down to you from your Lord, and if you do not, you will not have communicated His message” It means that the 23 years of his efforts would be lost (if he did not deliver what he (a) was told to announce to people)

And Allah revealed the next verse to the prophet saying “today (Ghadir) is the day I have perfected your religion for you, and I have completed My blessing upon you, and I have approved Islam as your religion” which means that God would not accept one’s religion without accepting the Wilaya (guardianship) of Ali (a). Now the question is why religion would not be perfect without the Wilaya of Ali (a) and why God would not be pleased with it?

Anyone who knows his self, will understand that to achieve perfection, they need a guide and follow a leader. Ali (a) and the Prophet (a) are like one soul in two bodies.

The same person we need as the prophet (a) is whom we need to continue the way and lead us, so that he (a) can stop us from wastage and profligacy in all our affairs; so that, by following him we can reach true humanity, just like a seed that grows to a ripe fruit.

Therefore, the reason behind celebration of Ghadir is perfection of religion and completion of blessings through continuation of prophethood in the form of Imamate, so that mankind can reach perfection through this leadership.

ـ الإمامُ الصّادقُ (عَلَيهِ الّسَلامُ): ما ضَعُفَ بَدَنٌ عمّا قَوِيَت علَيهِ النِّيَّةُ .

‪Imam al-Sadiq (AS) said, ‘A body will not become weak where the intention is strong.’[al-Faqih, v. 4, p. 400, no. 5859]

💠 Imam Ali (a.s):

There are some habits which cause poverty:

1⃣ Not cleaning the spider webs in the house

2⃣ urinating in the bathroom

3⃣ Eating while in Jinabah

4⃣ Using a toothpick made from Tamarisk tree

5⃣ Combing the hair while standing

6⃣ Keeping dust rubbish at home

7⃣ false swearing

8⃣ Adultery

9⃣ showing Greediness

1⃣0⃣ Sleeping between Maqrib and Isha prayer

1⃣1⃣ Sleeping from Fajr to sunrise

1⃣2⃣ Having poor economal plan for the life

1⃣3⃣ Cutting the relationship with relatives

1⃣4⃣ Having the habit of laying

1⃣5⃣ Listening so much to music

1⃣6⃣ Rejecting any poor man who asks for help at night

Then he continued: Now do I tell you what increases the wealth?

They said : sure Amirul Mu’minin.

He then said:

✅ Praying Asr just after zuhr and Isha after Maqrib

✅ Reciting Taqibat after Fajr and Asr prayer

✅ Visiting relatives

✅ Sweeping the house

✅ Interaction with Muslim fellows for the sake of God

✅ Going to work (gaining Rizq) in early morning

✅ Habit of Istighfar (Seeking for forgiveness)

✅ Being a safekeeper and having custody

✅ Telling the truth

✅ Repeating and whispering the Azan when it’s announced

✅ No talking when in the toilet

✅ Avoiding being Greediness

✅ Being grateful to God

✅ Avoiding false swearing

✅ Doing ablution (wudu) before eating

✅ Eating any food which drops from the food table

✅ The one who prays Allah 30 times a day, He would keep 70 disasters far from him which poverty is the easiest of them.

Management of sexual instinct

Sometimes a person, does not have any sexual inclination or desire when establishing an emotional relationship

But if they fail to properly manage their emotional relationships with people of the same or opposite sex, this freedom and lack of proper management can lead to sexual deviations.

One such deviation is masturbation. Masturbation is an illness and anomaly that should be cured immediately.

Unfortunately some psychologist and psychiatrists, influenced by the erroneous teaching of some other cultures, degrade humans to the level of animals by stating that masturbation is an acceptable method just like marriage, and it is not considered a deviation.

While proven researches conducted by European and other scientists have demonstrated that masturbation has devastating effects on body, mind and performance of the person, whereas marriage is free from that and has many positive effects.

Sexual desire is not always the sole reason for masturbation or excessive sexual drive.

Various ethical, habitual, intellectual, ideological and mental problems can lead to sexual deviation and disturbances.

Even some cloth fabrics can increase or decrease sexual fervor.

People with high sexual drive should put on cloths which do not increase sexual fervor.

Improper clothing will aimlessly increase sexual drive and wastes our life, abilities and valuable assets.

🔸Pigeon 

In Islamic lifestyle some pets are highly recommended to be kept at home because of their spritual and other benefits.

For example dogs are not supposed to be kept at home.

💠Imam Ali says: “there is no benefit in keeping dogs except the hunter and guard dogs (used to protect the flock”

And of course these dogs are supposed to be kept outside.

🔸But about pigeons there are plenty of Ahadith recommending to keep them.

🔺Some scholars believe that some specific diseases such as M.S, Parkinsonism, Madness, etc are caused by Jins, when they get close to human being. 

One of the ways to keep the Jins away is keeping pigeons at home according to the Ahadith.

I was in the presence of Imam Sadiq and I saw 3 pigeons are on his bed and they made it dirty by their poop. I told Imam about that, he replied: “it’s OK, it’s good to have them in the house”

the birds which the prophets used to keep them at home and in the house where they stay, the evils of Jins will not disturb the members of that house.”

ons, roosters and sparrows, Cuckoo is a bird which according to some Ahadith is not supposed to be kept at home nor should let them build their house on our environment as they cause spritual troubles.
