✺➽ Moharram is the first month of the Arabic lunar calendar and one of the “haram” months that in the pre-islamic era and Islamic religion, war was forbidden.

☑️ Moharram is a time which shia muslims mourn their third imam (Hussein (AS)) martyrdom 

❄️ This month in Shia culture is the reminder of imam Hussein’s rising, and the enduring event of Karbala,also reminder of imam Hussein’s loyal army and their bravery, it remind us of Zeinab(SA),Sajad(AS) and all of imam Hussein’s caravan and their sacrifices 

❁➲ This month reminds everybody about imam Hussein’s advices and Zeinab’s(SA) speeches and Sajad’s(AS) tirade

This month reminds us about Habib ibn mazahir resistance and Oan and Jaafar’s Martyrdom

👤 Imam Reza(AS) said:

«When it was Moharram no one would see my father’s Smile and he would be so sad till the end of the first decade and the tenth day (Ashora) was the sadest day of all Moharram and he would cry »¹

Mourning for imam Hussein(AS) is actually expressing love to Ahlolbait(SAWA) and the Holy Quran commands us to do so:

” قل لا اسئلکم عليه اجرا الا الموده في القربی²”
